The fine illustrations of the above were drawn by Peter Nielsen, author, artist, graphic designer and subject teacher at the Design Seminary in Højer 1997-2002. He has had a design studio on Ærø since 2003. His main emphasis is on the visual and illustrative, which can be seen in biology textbooks, instructional manuals and decorations. The cards are printed at a European Swan-labelled printing house and are made of environmentally certified FSC paper. The envelopes are produced from environmentally friendly eucalyptus paper.
